The Engine Serial number may be substituted with Motor Number or Mtr. Number. In either format the Serial Number will be six to eight digits, all numbers. The Engine Model will be in a form similar to BF4M1011F, F6L912, F3L2011, etc. All of this information will be located on the engine tag on top of the valve cover.
